We narrate the real thing from Mallorca

El Obrador was founded in 2020 as a platform for creation, dissemination, and exhibition with a local focus and international impact. It’s an independent project from the Mosaic production company, with over 17 years of experience and a filmography selected at festivals such as IDFA, Seminci, and Málaga.

From Mallorca, we produce authorial documentaries, television pieces, digital platforms, and campaigns for brands and institutions. We believe in the power of nonfiction to move, transform, and build collective memory. We offer documentary film training, consulting, and also organize Majordocs.

Through our creative and production team, we take care of every detail to create narratives that connect honestly and deeply with people.

Miguel Eek

Documentary filmmaker and founder of El Obrador. He directs author projects, coordinates editorial lines, and leads the artistic approach of each production. His work has received awards and has been screened at international festivals, and combines narrative experience with a humanistic perspective.

Javier del Álamo

Responsible for planning, team management, and feasibility of all projects. With a long history of executive production, he ensures that each project is carried out efficiently, with attention to detail and respect for the creative process.

Carme Servalls

Oversees the technical and artistic processes of editing, color, sound, and finishing. It is the link between the director's vision and the post-production teams, ensuring the aesthetic coherence and final quality of each piece.
