The cinema was the great cultural refuge of my childhood, but in Mallorca, since the 1980s, most theaters have disappeared. Today, the big screen competes with the saturation of home screens and individual consumption. Empty Screens interviews former movie theater workers to reflect, through cinema, on life, memory, and the passage of time.
